Sporting Bear's Dream Rides

The Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with Discovery, are thrilled to work with the Sporting Bears again in 2018. What better way is there to raise money for charity than by taking a ten mile passenger ride in the car of your dreams?

‘Dream Rides’, run by charity organisation The Sporting Bears Motor Club, offers visitors the opportunity to jump into and experience some of the most spectacular cars in the world, and all you have to do is donate to a wonderful cause. In exchange for a charitable donation, you can pick from the cars in the 'Dream Rides' garage which car you would like to take a ten-mile passenger ride in - the size of the donation depends on the car you choose.

‘Dream Rides’ wouldn’t be possible without the tireless work of the Sporting Bears Motor Club who performs a huge amount of passenger rides each day, at the three day event. They are a group of classic car enthusiasts that raised money for children’s charities across the nation, through their own touring and social events. Each member gives their time, car and fuel for free so every penny raised goes to the nominated charities. There is a Dream Ride for everyone!

The one thing guaranteed to be in the Sporting Bears’ Dream Rides Garage is a rare find, and this year’s event is offering not one but two hidden treasures in its line-up.

On Friday 23rd March, the Sporting Bears will have a very rare MG SV-R available for a Dream Ride. Based on the Qvale Mangusta with a Ford Mustang V8 and styling by Peter Stevens, only about 50 were produced and on Saturday 24th March, they will welcome a very special Dodge Challenger into the Dream Ride Garage. The latest car added to the Saturday line-up and sure to get your engines revving is a eye-catching Lamborghini Huracan Performante. If you're a speed deamon, taking a trip in the fastest production car to have driven the famous Nordschleife Nurburgring circuit will be right up your street! Read more about the rare motors in 2018's garage here.
