Carole Nash Barn Find

Hidden treasures will be showcased in the UK's biggest Barn Find display at the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with Discovery

How do you define ‘Barn Find’? To some, it has to be a vehicle covered in four decades worth of dust but to others, it is a car that has lain dormant for many years.  The cars displayed in this year's Carole Nash Barn Find display have been unearthed from garages, sheds, yards and even the bottom of the garden that have been rescued by passionate enthusiasts.  Some remain in the same condition as the day they went into storage while others would be better to ‘rust in peace’.

The Practical Classics Live Stage with Discovery

The Practical Classics Live Stage with Discovery is the active heart of the show and we have an amazing line up ready for you. Our three-day rebuild in 2018 will be the most ambitious yet, as ‘team PC’ celebrate 70 years of the 2CV by reviving one of the oldest 2CVs still in existence. The car was collected from a variety of locations in North London and is now being prepared for the show. If completed it will join the Morris Minor lowlight the team built two years ago (the Morris minor also turns 70 in 2018), for a run from the Cowley factory where the Morris was built, to the Paris birthplace of the 2CV. The live stage is also home to our host of celebrity interviews, Q&As, classic car demonstrations and the Practical Classics cavalcade – it’s where things get noisy, so make sure you keep checking the website and Practical Classics Magazine for updates..

Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership

The Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership celebrates classic cars and their owners, gathering together those enthusiasts with heartwarming stories behind their vehicle that show they are some of the rarest, most unusual and the most cherished cars in the UK. Cars up to the year 2000 are considered - from pre-war to the noughties. The standard of the car is obviously important, but the passion of the owner and the journey the car has gone on is equally, if not more important.

Trader Village and Autojumble

The classic trader village and Autojumble offers everything you need for the 2018 classic season – be it as a driver, mechanic, crew or an ardent enthusiast. A treasure trove for classic enthusiasts, those tackling restoration projects, or anyone looking for a one-off gift, the popular Autojumble features over 100 stands offering all sorts of parts, spares, tools, prints, model cars and oddments.
