Owned and restored by PC Workshop Editor Matt Tomkins, this Morris Minor Traveller has been on many an adventure since its completion in 2014, most recently to Wales on the magazine’s annual Winter Warmers adventure. Matt restored the car whilst at university, winning him the accolade of Restorer of the Year 2015, and has since driven the car as far afield as the south of France, Belgium, Scotland and Wales. The car received replacement wood, a full respray and plenty of welding during its rebuild – all beneath a gazebo on his parents’ driveway - as well as an engine rebuilt on the kitchen table of Matt’s student digs! Now in need of a little cosmetic attention, Matt has committed to use the car as much as possible in 2026 and has already sourced a pair of rear wings and a tin of paint ahead of planned winter maintenance.
