REVS Restore, the community restoration of a 1975 Land Rover Series III, will be at the NEC for the Practical Classics Restoration Show. It is just one of a series of initiatives from REVS Community CIC, the non-for-profit organization that started the award-winning REVS Limiter online community during the covid lockdown, as well as the Pilgrim Tour, and a growing number of local ‘cars and coffee’ style gatherings with a difference. This community project seeks to bring back to life a 109” Land Rover that itself has a fascinating story, and all with the aim to bring together people and create somewhere positive where issues of mental wellbeing are on the agenda. Indeed it is hoped that by coming together, having a shared purpose and supporting one another, people may find a sense of restoration for themselves as much as for the vehicle. REVS is a car community that focuses on spiritual and mental wellbeing, underpinned by Christian values and principles, and for people of faith, no faith and everything in between.
