In 2022 the Renault Owners' Club celebrates its 70th birthday, and is today the second oldest Renault club in the world (beaten by a few months by our friends in Australia!).
At the Show we will also be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic Renault 5. At its launch the original 5 broke new ground with the extensive use of plastics, whilst the second generation Supercinq set new marketing standards with the "What's Yours Called?" campaign.
Both generations of Renault 5 make excellent "First Classics". With the exception of the sporting models, prices remain affordable and parts availability is generally good.
We will also be featuring examples of other models, once a common sight but now rapidly disappearing from our roads, which can be purchased for very little and saved from the crusher. Whilst not "Classics" in the true sense, these cars represent a great opportunity to make a start with our hobby
