William Lyons and his partner William Walmsley brought the Swallow Sidecar Company to Coventry and made the company a car maker. The 1931 Big Nine we're showing is an early example of Swallow's work. Swallow developed into SS cars and worked closely with Standard during the 1930s, eventually becoming Jaguar cars.
