Which engine should we fit in our 'Wedge' Lagonda

Which engine should we fit in our 'Wedge' Lagonda
V8 or V12? We want your vote!

The amazing 1970s Lagonda ‘Wedge’ V8 will be gracing our stand, complete with its recently restored V8 engine.

Alongside will be a recently restored Aston Martin V12 engine.

Should we replace the V8 with the V12?... we await your votes!

A simple Yes or No button press is all we need to help us make this monumental decision.

The car’s owner, Richard Furse, will be on hand to answer questions. He’s also ready to hear your views (take the flak?):

“Great idea”

"It’s what AML would have done if they’d had the V12 back in 1976”

“Sacrilege!”

Richard, who is also one of the founders of AstonOwners.com comments:

“We launched AstonOwners.com as a not-for-profit subscriber website designed to help keep Aston Martin cars where they belong, on the road. We’re also heavily engaged in finding solutions to problems, repairing electronic modules (a growing issue), sourcing parts from ‘unobtainium’ and developing modern driver solutions, such as contemporary gearboxes in old V8s and, maybe, a V12 in this Lagonda.

“I’m eager to learn what a passionate audience like the Resto Show visitors think, hence our quick ‘vote now’ buttons."

We’ll announce the result of the poll before the show closes on Sunday evening (22nd March)... get voting!
