Come to our stand in hall5 to celebrate with us our club's 30th anniversary!

The club was officially formed on 21st January 1996 at the Gateway Hotel, Nottingham. It originally started life as the 'Corrado Register'. It's aim was to catalogue details of as many UK Corrado's (and their owners) as possible - quite an ambitious task, given that there were over 9,000 of them!

News spread by word of mouth, contacts at VW shows, articles in VW Motoring, etc. It soon became clear that a viable club could be formed concerning all aspects 'Corrado'. The VW Corrado Club of Great Britain was born!

The first club meeting attracted 22 Corrado's and their owners. After a photo-shoot for VW Motoring and VW/Audi Car magazines, a brief address was given by guest speakers Robin Wager and Paul Harris (editors of the above two magazines). The serious business of forming the club then took place. This included the election of committee members, discussion of Club rules, and the level of subscription fees.
