Andrew Anderson - Volvo Owners' Club
Andrew is a Director of the Volvo Owners’ Club and a tireless advocate for the Volvo marque. His passion spans from the 1927 OV4, one of which he owns, to the iconic P1800 from the 1960s, with deep knowledge of virtually every Volvo model in between. He plays a vital role in the Club’s success: managing the Club’s YouTube channel, overseeing Club finances, co-running the Club stands at major NEC shows, and representing the Club at numerous events. His beautifully restored Volvo P1900 was awarded Car of the Show at the 2025 NEC Classic Motor Show, highlighting his commitment to excellence and preservation. Andrew is also currently leading work on an impressive Volvo Owners Club display for the NEC shows in 2027, celebrating Volvo’s 100th Anniversary. Andrew is also instrumental in securing the future of the Club, leading recruitment and engagement with younger members, plus supporting the Club’s chosen charity, Legend on the Bench, which addresses youth suicide, the leading cause of death among young people, demonstrating that his commitment extends well beyond cars alone. In addition, he regularly contributes articles on the PV series, gives technical advice, acts as the Club’s liaison with Volvo Heritage, maintains extensive knowledge of classic Volvo values, advises on imports, and has produced and edited the Club’s highly successful Volvo book. Andrew Anderson’s dedication, expertise, and leadership make him an outstanding ambassador for the Volvo Owners Club and a truly deserving recipient of the Classic Car Weekly Club Hero Award.
