1988 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e.

1988 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e.
  • In April 1985, the uprated version of the first series Uno – the Uno Turbo i.e. – was launched as a three-door only derivative
  • Motivation was courtesy of a Strada-derived, 105bhp, 1.3-litre 128-Series four-cylinder with Bosch multi-point fuel-injection, Magneti Marelli electronic ignition and a water-cooled IHI turbo, enabling over 127mph
  • From 1988, they were fitted with the newly developed 'C510' 5-speed gearbox, featuring a more durable differential and improved gearchange linkage
  • This first generation, right-hand drive, UK-supplied example was registered here in 1989, exported to Europe during the 1990s, returning to the UK in 2022
  • Since its return, it's been fully recommissioned by a FIAT dealer and remained in a private Collection until now
  • Superbly presented in Rosso Corsa over an almost flawless original black and red patterned cloth interior and optioned with Cromodora 13" alloys, electric windows and a manual sunroof
  • Supplied with copy of the FIAT Certificate of Origin, original owners manual and a period Uno brochure, as well as invoices for the recent recommissioning
  • We understand that there are less than 20 Mk 1 Uno Turbos on the road in the UK and this is undoubtedly one of, if not the, best
