Klub Klasyczna Polonia UK: A Full Rebuild, Live on their Stand
Klub Klasyczna Polonia UK will be bringing one of Poland’s most characterful classics to life at this year’s show – and doing it live in front of your eyes.
Taking centre stage is an FSM Syrena 105L (1976), the first Syrena model to make its way to the UK and even a former film car, having appeared in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But this won’t be a static display.
Over the three days of the show, the team will carry out a full live rebuild on the stand. The Syrena will be almost completely stripped down, with its engine, interior, electrics and body components laid out so visitors can see exactly how the car goes together. Then, piece by piece, the club will reassemble the car from the ground up.
The aim? That by the end of the weekend, the Syrena will be rebuilt and drive off the stand under its own power.
It’s hands-on, no-nonsense restoration in real time – a rare chance to see a classic taken apart and brought back to life, with the Klub Klasyczna Polonia UK team on hand throughout to talk through the process and share their hard-earned knowledge.
