Jowett Car Club
The Jowett Car Club will be celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Jowett Bradford with a uniquely curated working display showcasing several rare and fascinating variants of this much-loved commercial vehicle.
Vehicles on display-
1948 Jowett Bradford ‘Woodie’ Shooting Brake (HVP 620)
A truly unique vehicle bodied by Frank Grounds Ltd and still owned by the Grounds family. This rare Bradford will be recommissioned live on the stand during the show. -
1947 Jowett Bradford Utility (LS 4878)
Built with a distinctive two-piece tailgate for use by its original market garden owner. Now in long-term ownership of a Jowett Car Club member, this Bradford will also undergo live recommissioning after many years in storage. -
1949 Jowett Bradford Ice Cream Van (MHT 670)
An extraordinarily rare and highly original Briggs-bodied ice cream van, still wearing its original livery. Major restoration work on this remarkable survivor will begin live at the show.
