VEC2010
VEC2010 will be bringing a superb snapshot of classic Volvo heritage to the show, with a stand that celebrates originality, long-term ownership, and sympathetic restoration across four standout models from the 1960s.
Vehicles on display-
Volvo PV544 (1964)
Fully restored and presented in beautiful condition, this PV544 represents the end of an era for Volvo’s classic saloon design and remains a real crowd-pleaser. -
Volvo 131 (1967)
Owned by the same enthusiast for over three decades, this much-loved example tells a great story of long-term custodianship and careful preservation. -
Volvo 123GT (1968)
A fascinating project car and one of Volvo’s sportier classics, offering visitors an insight into what goes into keeping rare performance variants alive. -
Volvo 1800S (1963)
A totally original example of this iconic coupé, showing just how well these cars can survive when cherished and preserved.
These cars are now exceptionally scarce on UK roads. Current figures show just:
-
170 Volvo 131s remaining
-
85 Volvo 123GTs
-
278 Volvo 1800S models
The Volvo PV544 is now so rare that it no longer even appears on the “How Many Left” records – making this restored example even more special to see in the metal.
If you love rare classics, original survivors, and the stories behind long-term ownership, the VEC2010 stand is one to seek out.
