Celebrating 70 Years of the Jaguar Drivers’ Club
The Jaguar Drivers' Club will be marking a major milestone at the Show as it celebrates 70 years since the club’s formation in 1956.
To honour the occasion, the club is planning a special display featuring some iconic models from Jaguar’s rich heritage. Among the highlights will be a beautifully fully restored Jaguar XK8, displayed alongside a pre-production XK8 supplied by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Seeing these two cars side-by-side will offer visitors a rare insight into the development of one of Jaguar’s most recognisable modern classics.
Adding to the stand’s appeal, the club is also hoping to present a fascinating “before and after” comparison of the legendary Jaguar E-Type. The display will feature one example currently partway through restoration alongside a fully completed car, giving enthusiasts a clear view of the transformation these iconic machines can undergo during the restoration process.
With a blend of milestone celebrations, rare Jaguar history and restoration inspiration, the Jaguar Drivers’ Club stand promises to be a fitting tribute to seven decades of passion for the marque.
