Danny Hopkins

Editor, Practical Classics Magazine

Danny Hopkins is editor of Practical Classics Magazine, Britain’s biggest selling hands-on classic car publication. He is a PPA award-winning motoring journalist, who has worked across and edited several market-leading titles. He is a veteran of more than a dozen classic restorations and rebuilds and currently owns six classics (that he will admit to). He is a former actor, published playwright, an accomplished presenter and after dinner speaker and among other questionable skills, can drive a steam train. Danny lives with his wife and two daughters near Cambridge.

David Simister

Editor, Classic Car Weekly

 David Simister is editor of Classic Car Weekly, Britain’s biggest selling classic weekly publication. He has previously worked on newspapers including the North Wales Weekly News, The Southport Champion and The Daily Post. David is an award-winning journalist and the 2016 Newspress Automotive News Writer of The Year. He currently runs three classics – an MGB GT, Range Rover, and Mazda MX-5 - and is a regular visitor to Britain’s classic shows, attending upwards of 40 events every year. David lives with his wife near Peterborough. 

David Whale

Chairman, Federation of British Historic Vehicle Club

David Whale is Chairman of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs and Chairman of the Legislation Working Group of the FIA International Historic Commission. He is retired and lives in Staffordshire but retains commercial interests in his daughter's businesses importing equestrian products from across Europe. His life-long passion encompasses historic vehicles, several of which are sole survivors of their type and span a Pioneer Run eligible 1913 JES, through 1938 Rosengart SuperSept Grand Luxe Coupe, a pre-production 1964 Mini Moke, 1965 Hillman Farmobile to a Porsche 928 S4.

David Boyce

Deputy Director, Tourism Ireland Great Britain

David Boyce has been Deputy Director of Tourism Ireland Great Britain since 2005. Prior to taking up this role, David was Head of North America for the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, then Vice President of Advertising and Communications for Tourism Ireland North America. In addition to his role as Deputy Director, David has specific responsibility within Tourism Ireland Great Britain for public relations, business tourism, golf and sports marketing.
