National Car Club Awards
To allow us time to find a suitable replacement sponsor, so we can continue to deliver the NCCA without compromise on the format of the celebrations or the number of categories recognised, we have taken the decision to postpone the Awards.
Congratulations to the 2019 Award Winners
The National Car Club Awards celebrate, recognise and honour the achievements of the nation’s car clubs, the enthusiastic people who run them and the remarkable cars they preserve and cherish.

This year’s recipient’s contribution to his club and the classic scene as a whole has been tremendous. He has been a stalwart, always there to advise and support in a positive way. His 25 years as President of the TR Register is this year’s landmark but at the age of 83, he shows no signs of taking a back seat. He is quite simply a legend and has written 130 books about classics… but his heart always returns to Canley.
He has been a Triumph man for over 60 years, since he was drafted in by Harry Webster as Competition Secretary to run the Triumph works rally and racing programmes of the early and mid-sixties. He looked after the TRS Le Mans entries, the legendary pale blue works TR4s all wearing the VC number plate and took the Spitfires to victory at Le Mans in 1965.
